There are various tools available in the market to enhance a business user’s experience. Since this is a very important part of the business of a company, those companies take special care in selecting the correct vendor to enhance the business experience for them.

Allowing companies to respond quickly and efficiently to the ever-growing demands of business users, CA Technologies has unveiled a new version of its CA Nimsoft Service Desk (NSD). This latest release allows the customers to improve their agility in the IT domain.

CA NSD makes it easier to manage Web resources, as it is now easier to activate, deactivate and/or modify these resources. This brings the operational cost down and also eliminates the need to have a manual staff to do the job.

CA NSD is now equipped with Web services capabilities that makes it easier to merge with other potential components of an enterprise ITSM environment. With this, consumers of IT services can perform various functions such as creating incidents, administer approvals, look after tickets, and see important service communications information.

CA Nimsoft Service Desk is easy to use, easy to maintain and easy to deploy. Although it’s a SaaS solution, it provides users with the simplicity of enterprise-grade strength.

“Increasingly, IT is less about command-and-control and more about engineering a set of virtualized hybrid cloud resources that the business can access on-demand,” said Lokesh Jindal, general manager of IT Business Management at CA Technologies. “With CA Nimsoft Service Desk, we have designed and delivered a solution that IT can use to automate and deliver business services without getting bogged down in writing a bunch of inflexible code, tapping into its limited capital budget, or ripping-and-replacing existing resources that still have genuine value.”

Recently, the company announced that the State of New Hampshire's Department of IT (DOIT) selected CA Technologies’ Harvest Software Change Manager. This was selected to manage code and Intellectual Property (IP) and provide version control.
