Intelligrated has confirmed its participation at PACK EXPO 2013, happening at the Las Vegas Convention Center next month, to showcase its Alvey robotic palletizing and depalletizing solution.
Intelligrated is a North American-owned, single-point provider of automated material handling solutions with operations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The company is headquartered in Cincinnati and designs, manufactures and installs complete material handling automation solutions, including conveyor systems, IntelliSort sortation systems, Alvey palletizers and robotics, real-time solutions order fulfillment systems, warehouse control software and advanced machine controls—all supported by 24x7 customer service and support.
The company plans to make an in-booth presentation, through which visitors get an opportunity to see the robots execute the order in real-time. This demonstration will involve live presentation of an interactive system with robotic arms equipped with custom end-of-arm tooling, software and controls, integrated with Intelligrated pallet conveyor and motor driven roller case conveyor.
One particular robotic arm will showcase palletize multiple case sizes, while a second arm will perform vision-guided random case depalletizing.

According to Intelligrated officials, the robots are built to offer flexibility, combined with advanced software and vision technology, which is helpful in supervising number of variable loads and products and bring the speed and accuracy of automation to previously manual processes.
Visitors can also interact with the representatives from Intelligrated, to discuss performance enhancements to existing material handling equipment and software.
